1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the AMT Test Prep mobile application (the "App") or visiting our website at amttestprep.com (the "Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

AMT Test Prep provides an educational platform designed to help users prepare for the FAA Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification exams. Our services include practice tests, AI-powered study tools, oral exam simulation, progress tracking, and gamified learning features.

Important: Our App is a study aid and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Passing our practice tests does not guarantee success on the actual FAA exams.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Plan

The App offers a free tier with limited access to features. No payment is required for the free plan.

Pro Subscription

The Pro subscription unlocks additional features including unlimited practice tests, expanded AI tutor access, and advanced analytics. Subscription details:

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly at the price displayed at time of purchase
  • On iOS, subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions
  • On Android and web, subscriptions are processed through Stripe
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. For iOS subscriptions, manage your subscription through your Apple ID settings. For other platforms, contact us at support@amttestprep.com. After cancellation, you will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled according to the policies of the respective payment platform (Apple App Store or Stripe).

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Share, distribute, or reproduce our exam questions or content
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Use offensive, vulgar, or inappropriate display names or content
  • Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities instead of reporting them

6. Intellectual Property

All content in the App and Website, including but not limited to text, questions, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, is the property of AMT Test Prep and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

7. AI-Generated Content

Certain features of the App use artificial intelligence to generate explanations, feedback, and recommendations. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. You should not rely solely on AI-generated content for critical decisions. Always verify information with official FAA publications and study materials.

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the App's Settings page. Upon account deletion, all your personal data, study progress, and associated records will be permanently removed from our systems. This action cannot be undone. If you have an active subscription, please cancel it before deleting your account.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP AND WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE MAKE NO GUARANTEES REGARDING EXAM RESULTS OR OUTCOMES.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AMT TEST PREP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP OR WEBSITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AMT Test Prep, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
